Ideal engraved height for text or logo - ~5 mm (0.2").
Straw Appearance - Each earth straw is unique and has subtle variations, color, and appearance. This is nature at its finest.
Engraved Area - Subtle variances in the darkness of engraved area is completely normal and expected.
Pouch Options - Pouch length will correlate to the size of the straw you chose. Standard straw lengths are tall 7.75" or cocktail 5.5". Custom length also available upon request.

Cleaning and Drying - We encourage you to rinse under hot tap water before thoroughly drying. Feel free to place the straw in the dishwasher to ensure a proper clean (top rack only). Our straws dry quickly, but make sure you give them proper ventilation to extend the life of the straw. Our well ventilated jute pouches make the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of reuse.
Storage - Our jute pouches and sleeves make the perfect way to store and carry your straws as they provide a convenient and breathable environment for the straws.
Do Not Consume - Straws are not intended to be eaten or digested and should only be used as a straw to drink various liquids.
Responsible Individual Reuse - Ideally straws should not be shared to avoid avoid unnecessary cross contamination..
REUSABLE REED STRAWS
Reed straws are made from the stems of the Reed Plant. Reed is known as the cousin of Bamboo, with similar durability characteristics. They are sources from small sustainable farms in Southeast Asia.
Reed straws can be used in any hot or cold beverage, but are best suited for smoothies, shakes or thicker iced-drinks.
At this time, we are offering standard size Reed Straws that are appropriately 7.75 inches in length. The diameter varies as it is a natural plant stem between 7-9 millimeters in diameter
Reed straws are harvested annually and are cut to desired length and cleaned using salt water / UV sterilization methods.
Our line of reed straws are similar to bamboo in that they can be reused over and over. To be cleaned, they can be run under warm water and are also dishwasher friendly. When they have seen better days, they can be disposed of either in a compost bin or in the trash. They will decompose naturally over time and will return naturally back to the Earth. (Note: they are not required to be composted like other bioplastic straws.)
Our reed stem straws originate from small batch farms throughout southeast Asia. Design, distribution, fulfillment and sales are all handled in North America.
